Day 8
We spent a wonderful day visiting musuems today. We first visited the Natural History Museum. A giant dinosaur was standing right at the entrance greeting us. We then visited the Science Museum and saw an IMax movie. That was cool! In the evening, our teacher brought us to Harrods to buy souvenirs, he said it's the most famous department store in Britain. We bought a lot, but the stuffs inside were really expensive. Before we went back to hostel, we took a ride on London Eye. We could never forget the stunning nightview of London city. It was beautiful!

Day 7
We had our Talent Show performance tonight. It was great fun! Everybody enjoys it soooooooo much. Students from different countries tried their very best to show the culture of their home countries. Can you tell what they were performing from the photos below?

Day 6
Tonight was sabbath. We went to church and had fellowship with international students as well as some local students. We had a meaningful sharing on 'Fear'. Everybody shared a lot since we all experienced fear....fear of exams, darkness, having no girlfriend, etc.
Are you fear of anything?

Day 5
We had 6 lessons in the morning as usual, followed by a rehearsal for the Talent Show. Everybody was playful at the beginning but we became serious once we knew we'll perform on stage to all international students! You know what we'll perform in the talent show? We're going to show different aspects of our life in HK, e.g. celebrating Chinese New Year, having dim-sum at a teahouse and bargaining in Lady's Street. Do you think they'll enjoy our show?

Day 4

We had a wonderful tour in London today! We first took the railway from Watford to Euston, and then we took the subway to Green Park. From there, we had a great walk to Buckingham Palace. The palace of the Queen is really huge. We could't even take a photo of the whole palace into our camera! Opposite the palace is Queen Victoria's Fountain. We arrived there at 12:00 so we weren't able to watch the Guards marching by. What a pity!

We then had a leisurely walk in St. Jame's Park. Just before we had lunch on the lawn, we saw a squirrel running near us. It's so cute! We walked along the Mall after lunch and went to Trafalgar Square. There were so many British flags flying along the Mall. Do you know how many British flags there were? That's a total of 24!

Our next stop was the Horse Guards. We took ptotos with the guard and horse. The horse was really kind to human, but their dropping was really ... smelly : ( On the way to the Westminster Abbey, out teacher asked us to take a photo in the phone booth. You know what happened? All our team members crammed into it. It was so crowded that I nearly became suffocated!

We continued our walk to the Parliment Square. We took lots of photos in front of Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. Our tour finished at the magnificent steel structure over River Thames-London Eye. There was a long queue waiting so we couldn't get a ride today. My teacher said he'd try to let us take a ride before we leave this beautiful city. I really look forward to it.

Day 3

We have another school day today. It was fun and we attended different lessons. Philip went to a speaking class and was acting how to speak angrily. Yoyo, Shelly and Flora learnt how to cook rice in an Italian style. Ventura, Samson and Iris went to a woodwork class in the afternoon, Guess what they made? A paper clip!

Day 2

This is our first day at school. We had a screening test in the morning. Then, we had a school tour. The students here showed us different facilities at school.

We had classes in the afternoon. Some of us had IT lesson and some had PE lesson. Can you see Iris, Yoyo and Ventura running around the school campus? They ran for 45 minutes! Can you believe it?

We went bowling after lessons. We played with students from many different countries, say for example, Thailand, Norway, Poland and Korea. They are really friendly and we became friends already!

Our 1st day

Dear all,

Hi, everybody, I think you are all very concerned about your children. Here is thier news.

Well, we arrived very early yesterday. The flight was long but stable. We had two meals on flight and all of us managed to get some sleep. We got no problem passing the immigration, although the white immigration officers at the airport were quite rude to Asian-as I could observe.

We got nothing serios to do on our first day because it's Sunday. Students got their rooms and we went to the nearby supermarket to get some snacks and fruits. We had meals in the canteen and the food was quite nice, much better than what I've expected. The kids got lots of sleep and are all in good conditions. The only problem I face is about internet. I found the computer and internet working quite slowly here- it takes ages to upload a photo.

They took a screening test today, which puts them into different classes. They are now taking lessons, some are doing English, somre are doing Geograpgy and P.E. It's a good chance for them to experience local students' life. I think they are a bit not used to it, but I hope they will find it fun.

We're going bowling this afternoon. I think it must be great fun.

I will upload the photos we took as soon as I can solve the internet problem.

I will also get two students to write something here everyday so they can share a bit of their life.
